Turn Valentine’s Day into a day to
give something really big.
Tampa Bay, FL, February 14, 2008 --(PR.com)
Give the gift of love, compassion and help
to someone suffering from alcoholism. Co-authors, Karen Gregg
Price and Joseph Price, today pre-released a stunning sample
chapter of the book, “Simply Quit Drinking: An Inspirational
Journey From Near Death”, available at the Web site www.SimplyQuitDrinking.com.
The book is different from most because the
co-author couple tell two different perspectives. The book also
discusses how American society enables alcoholism. The co-authors
will be interviewing on the Internet radio broadcast Saturday,
February 16 at 4:00 at www.ReachingPeakShow.com,
also aired on
WTAN 1340 AM.
The book is an inspirational story with a
“no holds barred” attitude on how bad alcoholism
can crush a promising young life. It also implicates society
norms and laws for sustaining alcoholism.
“It will fill you with disgust, and
then hope, inspiration and knowledge,” says Karen Gregg
Price. “I'm basically coming out of the closet at my own
risk to help others,” says Price. “I also suffered
one of the longest functional blackouts, confirmed by experts,
which you can read about in the book.”
“I'm impressed with my wife's courage
to go public to help others,” says Co-author and husband,
Joseph Price. “It was an incredible journey for me too,
to watch as my wife overcame drinking herself to death. I included
my point of view in the book to help families cope, to share
my despair, and also reveal the
ugliness of alcoholism.”
The book is scheduled to be published in March
by Reaching Peak LLC. Founded in 2006, Reaching Peak LLC provides
motivational resources through The
Reaching Peak Show, www.ReachingSpeakers.com,
and other products and services.
